good trippy fun.

Have yall seen the actual yellow submarine movie? I pirated it a little while ago, and it's so good. It like makes you watch it from start to finish through sheer hypnotism, which is perfect. Lucy in the sky with diamonds is particularly good because it's, well about drugs. Which makes it already more interesting, yah?

Animal Collective Album Art...

I know that Animal Collective is suppose to be authentic and edgy, but the new album art for Merriweather Post Pavilion is sad. It's just a optical illusion ripped off a shitty website from '95. Kinda sad really. But no matter how much I resist, I'm sure 95% of these songs will get stuck in my head, which isn't a bad thing.

Hard Coffee.

I want.

Christmas?

How can Christmas be fun if all you do is sit around doing things that other people want to do...a afternoon with Barbara.

What do people do for Christmas when there's no pressure from other people? Hang out with friends...alone with Stoli? What are yall doing for the holidays?

Office?

Have yall been keeping up with the new season of the office? I can't connect on a personal level with season 5 as say mid season 2. Maybe because of too many love stories or its my subconscious getting tired of me buffering on hulu.

I just want a tv. will that solve everything? Maybe young bjork can help us with this one.

Hey donkey...

Literally will NOT get enough of this!

some good t-bone.

T-bone Walkers stormy Moday as played by the amazing Eric Clapton. Soak it up.

For those kids...

Who think that Andy Warhol is the best thing to ever happen. Here's a meaningful video of artsy nothingness.

meaningfulness?

Is getting your picture taken for style blogs important to being meaningful? How can I be happy with who I am if I'm not on facehunter yet??

work update.

Some of my more recent work. feast.

planing my gallery.

I really want to do my upcoming senior art gallery on the short attention span of Americans. How we can get obsessed with events from a day to day basis. Will history repeat itself because we can't focus, agree, and solve any one issue? How much does this have to do with expected social constraints of how much we need to belong withing our own group?

Thoughts bitches?

new favorite.

best hippie song ever.

old.

Have yall seen this ever? It's messed up and from the renaissance. Called garden of earthly delights mmmm

Oh The Onion.

I love the onion (and people who still think it's real). I love them even more now for this article!

Are mashups dyinggg?

I'm feeling like mashups are on their way out. But that doesn't mean it they still don't make a fucking good party! Here are my all time favorites, and they both hail from the chi.

Flosstrdamus keeps it fresh. And my best friend wants to marry curt. I saw them at Lollapalooza and it was pretty amazing not gonna lie.

The other is Hood Internet. They are the most down to earth guys ever! I think I danced 3 hours straight once cause they're that good.

The Hood Internet vs. Chicago ---zShare (192 mp3)

Best places in chicago...

Even though wicker park is slowing dying from the infestation of bros and mainstreamers , it's still one of the best places to be in Chicago! There's a lot of great places to go out to like Debonair, Evil Olive and Danny's. I also have a hookah bar that I recommend called arabic cafe. check it.

Boystown is a no brainer. In the summer time all the rainbow flags are out and there's so many pride fests it's insane. It's also a great neighborhood to either just shop in or go out to at night. Can't miss The Berlin and Hydrate if you wanna see a bunch of pretty boys.

My last favorite spot is Logan Square. It's kinda weird cause it's a mixture of mexicans and hipsters. I love all the old houses that are around. Some good place here are the whirlaway and Burlington.

THE CHI!!

I love Chicago and here's why...

It's a big city with plenty to do all the time. If you're bored then it's your own damn fault. But even though it's big, everyone here is still friendly and normal. Even the alts aren't that pretentious!

Best trend.

I personally love when the obviously Midwestern person dresses like an 80s rapper. Not only does it not fit them, but if you keep it in the Midwest context, you can stick out even more than you thought you would. When New Yorkers dress all New Wave, it's like they're just preaching to pre-fashion fanatics. It's the kids in the random small towns making an effort when no one else gets it that matters.

Waste it.

So whats the best time waster site that you can browse pretty much anything from design to fashion, and all those other materialistic things? http://www.feedmecoolshit.com/ Go get it, steal music, and learn how to be cool.

Best Time Waster.

I'm becoming more of a pop culture fiend these days, and what I rely on is gawker.com
It has the randomness shit ever, but anything under the sun! From who Marthas new boyfriend is to Anderson Cooper coming (maybe) out of the closet. All the stuff that you didn't know how you lived without knowing before you read this blog. Go get it!

Haters.

A new thing that consumes a good chunk of my day is reading the Do's and Don'ts on Viceland.com. Sure, they're fun to read in the magazine too, but on the website, you get a bunch of weird ass people spewing hate on each other. It's a spectacular display of self-destruction, and could possibly be the most fun of my day sometimes. Take a look yerself.

Never Mind the BUZZCOCKS.

Not sure if you've ever heard of this show or not, but that's why you have me. It a British panel show all about popular culture. The panelists are always really random, like amy winehouse, to the head BBC news guy. It's so good! watch a few on youtube. Plus the host, Simon Amstell is a gay jew! mmmmmm

Hipsters Bible

What every hipster or aspiring to be needs on their treasure selves is the Nylon's book to street style. It basically has a fascist of 20 something DJs and artists from all around the world. It got kinda creepy when a guy from Sweden had my EXACT scarf on in one of the pictures. No matter how individualistic you try to be, there's always someone else. Just face it.

Best Instructable EVER!

You better know that I'll be making this table when I have my own space! It has a light show to Daft Punks song "Around the World". It's sooo good!
